This is my Mini-Mill. It's basically the lowest cost drill press that I could find, coupled with a good milling table. My capabilities in Metalworking are growing. Within the last year I have learned a lot. My Mini-Mill setup is pretty modest, but it allows me to do what I need to do with precision.
I can work with a wide variety of materials, and have used this setup to mill and drill steel, aluminum, wood, plastic, and fiberglass. The milling table makes it easy to cut precise holes.
The drill press table and the milling table were not quite compatible. So, I built an adapter plate to join them. Its a 1/2" Aluminum plate with countersunk holes for flush mounting. Here is a link to that process.Some of my metalworking projects are here...
